Ski bob Accessories

Skibobs have been commercially produced since 1949. Given that amount of time, one would think they would offer lots of gear or accessories. Not so much if one looks around on the internet.

I can't make metal skibike parts but can fabricate with most textiles.

Replacement skibob ski leashes

I've found that the plastic buckles on most ski bob ski leashes break within a year or two. Cold weather makes plastic brittle and many manufacturers use buckles that are not up to snuff. One needs dependable leashes to prevent runaway footskis or make them findable if they pop off in deep powder.

Since these leashes don't need to be weight rated, they can be made from most webbing on the market. If you want leashes with a hot red chili pattern....it's do-able. Send me 5 feet of your webbing pattern or I'll try to source some locally. Custom webbing is more expensive so that will add to the cost if I have to buy it.

K2 Snowcycle Replacement Seat Covers

Replace that torn up seat cover. I make these from heavy duty Arctic Vinyl that is rated to -30F. The original K2 skibike seats were made from marine vinyl that gets brittle and cracks in cold weather. The seams on these replacement snow bike covers are double stitched for strength. Installation instructions included with seat cover.

Gear repair

Need a carrying bag repaired? If the seams came apart, zipper slider broke, or the zipper needs replacing, please inquire. I do repairs with 69 Denier thread and 1000 Denier Cordura canvas. Zipper slider repairs start at $15. Zipper replacement starts at $100. Cost is ultimately decided by labor cost. Rate is $ 45/hr + supplies. Shipping is not included.
